No reply is owed

Paying to send a message does not create a right to a reply, attention, access, affection, endorsement, confidential treatment, or any relationship. A recipient may pass, block, or report a sender.

1. Respect safety and consent

Do not use Buckd to:

  • threaten, harass, stalk, shame, intimidate, extort, blackmail, or repeatedly contact someone who has asked you to stop;
  • promote hatred, dehumanization, or violence against a person or protected group;
  • share or solicit another person's private, identifying, intimate, medical, financial, or location information without lawful permission;
  • pressure someone for sex, romance, employment, investment, endorsement, access, or a transaction; or
  • encourage self-harm, dangerous acts, or violence.

2. Protect minors and vulnerable people

Buckd is for adults 18 and older. Any sexualization or exploitation of a minor, child sexual abuse material, grooming, trafficking, sextortion, or attempt to obtain intimate material from a minor is prohibited and may be reported to appropriate organizations or authorities. Do not impersonate a minor or use Buckd to target a person who cannot lawfully consent.

3. No scams, spam, or deception

  • Do not send bulk, automated, repetitive, irrelevant, or deceptive messages.
  • Do not impersonate a person or organization or misrepresent your affiliation, identity, qualifications, intent, or authority.
  • Do not phish for passwords, verification codes, payment credentials, identity documents, or confidential records.
  • Do not manipulate replies or ratings, create fake engagement, operate coordinated account networks, or send messages to yourself to manufacture earnings or reputation.
  • Do not evade blocks, suspensions, limits, verification, transaction controls, or another user's closed door.

4. No illegal or restricted commerce

Do not use Buckd to offer, request, arrange, promote, or facilitate:

  • illegal goods, services, content, or conduct;
  • weapons, controlled substances, counterfeit goods, stolen property, or credential trafficking;
  • sexual services, paid adult-content exchanges, or other prohibited adult commerce;
  • gambling, wagering, lotteries, prize schemes, or games of chance;
  • unapproved fundraising, charitable solicitation, or political contributions;
  • loans, investments, securities, cryptocurrency transactions, payment processing, debt collection, or money-transfer activity;
  • bribery, kickbacks, sanctions evasion, tax evasion, or money laundering; or
  • anything prohibited by Stripe's rules or applicable law.

Buckd is a paid written-reply service. It must not be used as a way to transfer value between people or to disguise another transaction.

5. Respect intellectual property and systems

  • Submit only content you have the right to use and do not infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
  • Do not distribute malware, harmful code, credential-stealing links, or content intended to compromise a device or account.
  • Do not scrape, probe, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to Buckd, its users, or connected services.
  • Do not exploit bugs, refund processes, disputes, credits, holds, or payouts for unintended benefit. Report suspected security flaws responsibly and do not access data that is not yours.

6. Enforcement

Buckd may use automated signals and human review to investigate suspected violations. Depending on severity and context, Buckd may warn a user; limit a message or public door; remove content; restore or reverse credits; pause a transaction or payout; require verification; suspend or close an account; preserve evidence; or notify Stripe, affected users, organizations, or authorities. Serious safety threats, exploitation, fraud, and evasion may result in immediate action.

7. Reporting

If a message presents an immediate threat or emergency, contact local emergency services first. Use Buckd's available report or block controls for harmful messages and follow the safety instructions on Support. Preserve relevant details, but do not publicly repost private or harmful content. Knowingly false or retaliatory reports are also prohibited.

A dollar gets through. A reply earns it.
